Jack Hoke, executive director of the North Carolina School Superintendents’ Association (NCSSA), will provide information on the NCSSA Aspiring Superintendents Program, which has 14 participants who have become superintendents. He will have a panel discussion with Tanya Turner, superintendent of Perquimans County Schools, Jeff Wallace, superintendent of Davie County Schools, and Dr. Otis Smallwood, superintendent of Bertie County Schools, regarding the program and the importance of positive superintendent/board relationships. In addition, the Next Generation Superintendent Development Program and the NC District Leader Executive Coaching Program will be discussed.
